THE YAWHG for sale!
Until May 30th, THE YAWHG is available for pre-order! It's half off 'til then, and after May 30th it'll officially be released (for PC Only).
This is the game I made with Damian Sommer last year for TCAF's Comics vs Games jam, though now there's loads of new writing, not to mention some more lovely music (and there's a little bit more art too)! I also made this post about it a few months ago, showcasing more art from the game in case you'd like to have a look.
For more info on what The Yawhg is all about, please do check out the game's press page. Thanks!

The Three Snake Leaves
ADDITIONALLY: I'm going to be at EMERALD CITY COMIC CON in Seattle this weekend! As in, tomorrow through Sunday. I'll be wandering around here and there, but my home base will be the Benign Kingdom table (check out that link for map & signing info if you're so inclined). I'll have copies of my new art book to sell, and will be happy to do some little drawings and say hello if you'd like to stop by. :)

Hourly Comic Day
So yesterday was Hourly Comic Day, which I've never done before, so I finally gave it a shot! I don't usually do autobio comics, and I don't think I'll do more of them in the future really, but it was interesting to try it out in such a loose format. And before I get started saying any more self-conscious, apologetic stuff: there's a forum here full of hourly comics by other people too. Also Eleanor Davis's were good. And Anthony Clark's.
A note: eventually I say some things about the end of the game Journey.

The Yawhg Revisited
This was a four person game that consisted of six turns, each one representing a week in the game world. Each turn a player could choose a location on the map, then choose from one of two options of what to spend that week doing. Damian is amazing and did so much writing for this, including random events tailored to each location (which I do enjoy a whole lot). Below is a sampling of world maps, events, locations, endings, etc! click to enlarge, as ever.

KICKSTARTER: Benign Kingdom Spring 2013!
I'm part of the new line-up of art books for Benign Kingdom's Spring 2013 collection! Please check out the Kickstarter campaign, along with the work of the other artists involved (because they are tremendous): Gigi DG, Phil McAndrew, and Tyson Hesse!
Much thanks to everyone who has backed the project so far, and much thanks to the team putting this whole project together.
Please do take a gander!

Scales, ladies, pink pants, etc.
Just some assorted things, most of which have no relation to each other at all beyond being very often semi-naked and/or scaled (though there are a couple pieces of fan art -- Marceline & PB from Adventure Time, Mute* from Analogue: A Hate Story and Sexica and Rein-East from Brandon Graham's Multiple Warheads & Prophet respectively). I also did some artwork for Gone Home, an upcoming game by the Fullbright Company (which includes my wife Kate Craig -- among other talented friends), which I suggest you check out. Otherwise, been really busy with the book and various life goings-ons, which will probably continue for the foreseeable future. Will check back in when I have more news to share, but in the meanwhile:

Creepy #9 and also hooves, lizards, schoolgirls, etc.
Just a tiny post to give a heads up -- for those so inclined -- that I have a short story in Creepy #9 by Dark Horse, out today (there's a preview of two of the book's stories, including mine, over here). It's called "The Red Knife", and is one of the only comics I've done in black and white thus far (though doing it definitely made me want to try that out more). Hope you like it if you get a chance to read it!
Speaking of black and white comics, Girl Apocalypse by Angie Wang is really really good. You can read it online and/or buy the lovely physical copy at her site. It's a zombie apocalypse fashion horror story, and I adore Angie's art.
...and a couple things I've drawn lately -- above is some fan art for Jillian Tamaki's comic SuperMutant Magic Academy, which is also great, and below we have some assorted NSFW images of some assorted ladies of assorted species (actually, the first one is a self portrait of me and my cat and is very safe for work I assure you).
