The Death of José Arcadio

A comic about the death of José Arcadio (and the subsequent activities of his blood), from One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, one of my favourite sequences so far (and I'm still not finished it yet, egads, I'm the slowest reader).

And below, a few concept pieces for a story I'd like to work on more one day:

Also! I'm looking into making some prints of my single pieces to sell online, and while I have a few in mind already, I was wondering if anyone had anything in particular that they would be interested in purchasing? The ones I'm considering already are these two of the ladies & werewolves, and also this one, of the two women on horseback, but if there's a high enough call for others I'd definitely take that into consideration. :) Thanks!

Holy Moley!

I can't even believe the amount of new visitors I've been getting here in the past few days (hello!), it's really been overwhelming, encouraging, and downright awesome. I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to look around and for all the really wonderful comments folks have been leaving. It means a lot to know people enjoy what I do, so thank you! Tons!

That said -- egads, I should probably update a little more. I'll be attempting to put up the past month or so's backlog in a series of posts over the next week or two, as well as setting up permanent pages for the comics I've done and eventually linking to those here as well.

In the meantime, some ladies, some monsters, some things! (click to enlarge)
